Our goal in Llanelli Tennis & Squash Club is to ensure that juniors learn a game for life and are still playing when they reach adulthood. With our very own programme “Little Smashers” lead by Adelheid we teach players to value life skills and tennis skills second, it’s through these life skills that we are able to teach tennis extremely well. For example: respect – respect for yourself, your squad-mates, your parents and your club.
All our coaching programmes and lessons are planned around developing the 4 performance factors relating to physical, tactical, technical and psychological skills. Lessons are planned to develop the relevant skills in each of these 4 areas to suit the individual or group.
“We aim to reward good attitude, effort, skills and performance” – says Adelheid.
